2017 World Seminar for Young Police Officers By: Joe Johnson, 2nd Vice President – US Section

The US Section will be hosting the 4th World Seminar for Young Police Officers from June 11 – 16, 2017.
We have begun to put together this program with the assistance of Region 56 (Wisconsin) and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This college has been a gracious host for our last two US Section training programs, and will be great hosts as we bring 60 officers from 30 + sections of the International Police Association together for a week of training and social events.

We plan to offer training on international topics such as equal opportunities and legitimacy, and the IPA as an organization, policing in the United States, Native American gangs, scenario based training with active shooters, drone technology and law enforcement, officer safety and survival, and much more.
