Region 62 is presently holding activity meeting on a quarterly basis. All IPA members, their families, guests, and all qualified prospective members (active and retired law enforcement officers) are always welcome to come and join us. Meetings will begin at 1830 (6:30 pm) on the second Thursday evening of the scheduled month (unless otherwise noted).
Next scheduled meetings:
~ Venue ~ The Virginia Patriot Region has been meeting at the Fairfax County Police Association Hall. Located at 5625 Revercomb Court in Fairfax, VA (22030). Many of our Region members belong to the Association. Those of you that are not familiar with the facilities may wish to peruse their website at: http://www.thefcpa.org/index.html. This property offers a nice informal (yet personal) setting for our meetings.
Members have enjoyed a
variety of different meals at our meetings there, e.g., catered buffet,
potluck, chili dinner, cold cuts, etc. Various members
have been providing some special treats. We usually discuss future
plans at the meetings and the newsletter gives us a "heads-up". It
really helps if we can have an approximate headcount by the Monday
before our meetings for planning purposes. As a courtesy, please
give the regional President a call at
703 391-9160,
or
e-mail
him at
Soyfer@msn.com
if you can
attend. We hope to see you there. Directions: From Rte I-66 take Fairfax County Parkway (Rte 7100) south 3 ½ miles and turn right at the light onto Popes Head Road. Go 200 yards and turn left onto Revercomb Court. First driveway on left. From I-95 take Fairfax County Parkway north approximately 12 miles and turn left at light onto Popes Head Road. Go 200 yards and turn left onto Revercomb Court. First driveway on left.
