doubled in size and is one of the fastest

law enforcement agencies within the state
of Connecticut. Any serving or retired law
enforcement officer living or working in the
state are welcome to join.
The IPA is the largest police fraternal organization
in the world, with membership
exceeding 250,000 members in 59 countries.
Connecticut being the gateway to New
England, we expect to SERVO PER AMIKECO -
service with friendship, with many officers
from around the United States and world. The
IPA is not affiliated to nor
represents any department or agency. It is
not associated with nor supports any union or
political activity.
Region 49 petitioned itself as a region from
the larger Region 12, which consist of all New
England, we are here to better assist IPA
members and families visiting our region
as a travel and destination area. With the
largest casino in the world - Foxwoods
Resort and Casino, the new Mohegan Sun Casino,

the state has much more
to offer. From quiet campsites, numerous beaches,
