THE UPDATE
THE QUARTERLY IPA NEWSLETTER FOR SAN DIEGO/IMPERIAL REGION #23
SUMMER 2004

President's Report
Spring as sprung and so has this newsletter. As you can see the newsletter is late getting out due to the loss of our editor. I will do my best in updating information and then sending it out, but one person cannot do it alone. I need your assistance. If you are interested, then please contact me at: Bquicksh@yahoo.com On a more cheerful note, I would like to welcome Jim Dorcy and L.J. Randolph to the Board. I truly appreciate their spirit of being a part of Region 23 and the time they are graciously giving to all of us. I would also like to advise you that Fred Barney is back on the road to recovery and L.J. Randolph has had successful knee surgery. Even though he tells me it still pains him to drive. Welcome back guys!! Please remember your DUES ARE DUE!

Stay safe and God Bless,
Burt

The following Board positions are still open.

They are:

Newsletter Editor - This job would require information gathering that is pertinent to IPA and its members. The information would then be sent to our printer, who would format the information and then send it out in e-mail as well as U.S. mail.

2nd Vice-President - This person would be responsible for facilitating visitors that come into San Diego. This would be done by e-mailing the visitor once we received their travel request form, and then sending them information about the attractions and hotels in San Diego. This person would also have a roster of Region 23 members who would want to host visitors. If you are interested, then please contact: Burt Quick at: Bquicksh@yahoo.com or at my home phone : 951-699-1317
