Messages from Region 11 President - Nov / Dec 2010

I would like to welcome all of our new members. Remember this is an organization of friendship and you now have many new interesting friends with much to say. The holiday season is quickly approaching. It is my goal to have a holiday get together. Please bring some suggestions with you to the next meeting or E-Mail me if you are not able to come so I can present your input to the others. The next meeting is at GG’s Italian restaurant and I know you will enjoy the authentic Italian cuisine and not to mention the company.

With "winter" quickly approaching this brings many visitors from regions from around the world. Region 11 has been receiving requests for tours, meeting other IPA members, ride-a-longs, visiting other police/sheriff departments. If you have some free time and would like to assist with meeting other IPA members please let the board know. I personally know it is very rewarding and you will not be disappointed networking and making new friends. Do not forget, prior to traveling, you will need to complete a travel form and have the Region 11 secretary approve the form. The form will then be sent to the respective sections/regions in orderto advise of your trip and visiting plans. They will assist you the way we assist others. I’m looking forward to seeing each and everyone soon.
