On May 27th, 2009, Region 11 had its 4th IPA-Brazilian Culture Night, with the past three events occuring in 2004, 2006 and 2007. This event was held for the second time at the Barriga Cheia Brazilian Restaurant located at 4203 West Hillsboro Blvd in Coconut Creek on the corner of Lyons Road and Hillsboro Boulevard. The event brought the Brazilian and Law Enforcement Communities together in friendship and entertainment. The beautiful Brazilian Mulata dancers, the muscular Capoeira artists and the excellent live band were terrific. Many independent businesses provided us with gifts so we could have a successful raffle. We gave away many prizes and danced until after midnight. Everyone had a wonderful time due to the efforts of everyone involved. |
