Associate Secretaries

On May 30, 2008, Region 11 had its 3rd IPA-Brazilian Culture Night, with the first two (2004 & 2006). This time the friendly venue was Barriga Cheia (Brazilian Restaurant). Once again the event was a success as the Region's fund raiser and brought eh Brazilian Community and the Police together under a social atmosphere, exchanging questions and breaking down the fear barriers that sometimes exist with the police and immigrants. It was well attended and as always the Brazilian Samba-Multa dancers were the highlight of the event. The success always depends on the Brazilian business that comes to assist with sponsorships.
