Many active and retired police officers who are avid collectors of police items belong to the International Police Association (IPA). Since the IPA is the largest police organization in the world with over 300,000 members in 61 countries it is a great police to make police contacts and trade, buy or sell police memorabilia. Kevin Gordon, a member from IL said, collect several items but mainly uniform hats. Most of my collection came from my IPA contacts around the world".
The IPA is a non-profit, worldwide fraternal organization whose membership consists solely of active and retired law enforcement personnel regardless of rank.
The association promotes global and cultural friendship among peace officers. Since this is an international organization, one of the major advantages relates to travel and making online police friends around the world. The emphasis of the organization is friendship. The Esperanto Motto of the Association is SERVO PER AMIKECO, which means "SERVICE THROUGH FRIENDSHIP".
