INTERNATIONAL POLICE ASSOCIATION

2008 National Delegates Conference
Tuesday, October 7 – Saturday, October 11

The members of Region 17 are pleased to invite all of you to beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado for the
2008 NDC meetings. We are nestled at the foot of famous Pikes Peak which was the inspiration for
“America the Beautiful”. October is after the busy tourist season with warm dry days and cool mountain
evenings. You will enjoy the opportunity to explore the many attractions in the city, nearby Manitou
Springs and Pikes Peak region during your stay. Colorado Springs sits at an elevation of 6500 feet.
Expect warm sunny days in the mid 70’s and cool evenings in the 50’s. Our humidity is very low in the fall.
Hopefully our aspen leaves will be in their full colors.
